Identity, demographic challenge and hospitality: the story of a Highland woman
Ghillie Basan will explain the potential of experiential tourism in the Scottish Highlands.
Among the many wonders that an area such as the Highlands has to offer, identity and gastronomy are key tools for a functioning economy and for overcoming the demographic challenge facing the most depopulated rural areas.
Basan will explain how this is so, but from a personal perspective, sharing her own experiences.
