Hall McCarron cooks the west coast of Scotland from an intimate and acclaimed restaurant in downtown Edinburgh.
Edinburgh’s Breakthrough Chef Award winner, Roberta Hall McCarron opened The Little Chartroom in 2018 after gaining experience in several Scottish restaurants and hotels (among these, the famous Balmoral) and in Dubai (Burj Al Arab). In The Little Chartroom, named best restaurant in Edinburgh, Hall McCarron cooks dishes from her native coast of Scotland, combining the best fish with produce contributed from small local farms.
Once The Little Chartroom was established, the chef along with her husband opened a second establishment, Eleanore, which also operates as a wine bar. Hall McCarron forms part of the group of chefs who are consolidating Edinburgh as one of the gastronomic capitals of the United Kingdom.
