Sara Gómez Martín

Engineer. Professor and researcher at the Polytechnic University of Madrid.

This Segovian has dedicated a large part of her life to teaching and research at university level.

She is currently a lecturer and researcher at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, but before devoting herself full time to training, she held positions of responsibility as an engineer in private enterprise.

Among the many positions she has held, she was Director General of Universities and Higher Artistic Education of the Community of Madrid and Councillor of the Royal Academy of Engineering of Spain, where she set up a project with the aim of encouraging engineering vocations in our girls and young women.

She is especially proud to have received the IV "Women and Technology Orange Foundation" Award. This award recognises women who stand out for their work in the fields of technology and social innovation.
