Ana Labad

Ana, born in Madrid but an Asturian at heart, decided to present the Lastres Town Council with a business project that was not seasonal, given that areas such as Lastres are characterised by tourism, where most local businesses live all year round on the income they generate only in the summer. 

In this way, she managed to create a business that has won awards for its quality and is considered an example to be followed not only in the region but also at national level, because, in addition to creating jobs, it has rescued the artisan tradition that the peasants of Lastres and their customers have taught her, becoming an example of how self-employment has a place and a long life in rural areas.
