"Guisandera" and head chef at Casa Telva (Valdesoto, Asturias, Spain)

She was born in the home of a "guisandera", a profession she has also taken up herself, although, in keeping with the times, she has bolstered it with extensive training.

As the eldest of five siblings growing up in a restaurant family, she soon began to undertake responsibility. This led her to delve deeper into the profession, and perfect it with a well-stocked CV. She holds a higher technical diploma in catering from the Gijón School of Catering and Tourism and a degree in protocol, organisation of events and institutional relations from Camilo José Cela University, and she is also a member of various regional and national organisations in the capacity of entrepreneuse.

An Asturian woman who has nevertheless travelled extensively, she enjoys adding exotic touches to the traditional cuisine she loves and enhances with new visions. She is the modern version of the typical "guisandera".
